Hello, I'm
Ambrose
Lisowe

Much of my success is from being adaptable. Often helping people take a peripheral approach to guiding them towards their goals, specifically if a direct path to their goal isn’t accessible. In working with them, my goal is to leave them set up for improvements in their desired areas of health, and eventually, guide them so well that I am no longer needed for my knowledge. The clients I often work with have tried multiple avenues of treatment for injuries/pain, are high calibrate professionals, are elite athletes in college or beyond. Often these people intrinsically know something is missing, feel unheard, feel misunderstood, and are looking for answers to their health and fitness questions, so they can navigate the information overload of the contemporary fitness industry.

My Story

I was born and raised in rural Wisconsin, I lived an active lifestyle from an early age. Playing many sports and staying involved with the family dairy farm playing important roles in making physical activity a daily habit. As an athlete,
the happiest memories come from having amazing coaches that cared to take the time to get to know me as a person. These were markedly the times of my greatest personal growth, athletic improvement, and sport skill development. For example, at age 14, a soccer coach empowered me to improve my soccer performance through exercise and nutrition. That turning point planted the seeds of passion for sports performance, nutrition and fitness.

I continued to pursue more information by pursuing a college education. This led me to graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from California Baptist University. While in college, I accumulated valuable experience as a collegiate soccer player, semi-professional soccer player, and as an intern strength & conditioning coach for the Lancer’s Athletic Performance Center. These experiences provided a bedrock foundation for functional, holistic athletic performance using strength & conditioning.

After graduating, I became certified as a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM), Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM), and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (NSCA). I highly enjoy working with a wide array of people and athletes while utilizing creative and custom exercise training practices in order to improve function and performance while reaching specified goals. I specialize in strength & conditioning, athletic performance, corrective exercise, rehabilitation, and pain relief.

Philosophy and Practice

“Continual development utilizing holistic strength & conditioning with intentional coaching creates a unique environment to improve human performance via growth in mentality, physicality, and spirit.”
