A functional fitness trainer, and health coach, with a degree in Kinesiology and a background in physical therapy. I am passionate about revealing how easy it is to be the healthier, happier and optimal version of you through movement and holistic health coaching. I like to say I help the 90% of people that need the positive accountability, aren’t getting the results they want, don’t know what to do at the gym, and want to lose weight and keep it off for good!

What is a health and wellness coach?

As a health and wellness coach I work with individuals, groups and/or organizations who want to invest in a vision to become healthier, in large part by making lifestyle changes that optimize health, wellness and wellbeing.

A little about me:

I was born and raised in Southern California as the middle child of five. As a child, I struggled with obesity regardless of all the sports and activities I participated in. Prior to PHP, I worked in the food industry from various restaurants to wine country for about 15 years. My artistic outlet is cooking in the kitchen. I love playing with different foods, flavors, textures, and cuisines. My cooking endeavors led to my ambition to be a health coach and teach others how to enjoy food whether it be cooking, meal preparation, and learning how to enjoy life with all the foods! Trust me when I say you can happily enjoy beer, wine, and carbs guilt-free and lose weight!

Athletic Background:

I played every sport from baseball, football, soccer, track, and field but my heart was always burning for hockey. Playing since I was four years old after high school I decided to take my burning passion to New York in pursuit of a hockey career. After two years of major junior hockey, I played and studied at Hudson Valley Community in Upstate New York where my interest in Kinesiology started. As I learned more about sports nutrition, anatomy and physiology, I was able to apply this knowledge to my teammates and himself and enhance our athletic performance. As my education continued at California State University, San Marcos, I realized this is knowledge and training that will be applied for the rest of his life but also help others live a healthier and happier life.
